Chaotic comedy magician The Joker first met Dieter Roterburg at the Edinburgh fringe festival - after a late-night close-up set that got completely out of hand.

With an angry and inebriated crowd on his tail, bottles and glasses flying everywhere - Dieter helped him escape the angry mob… only for the pair to become firm friends.

Throughout their friendship, Dieter would often offer him advice on how to find a form of restraint and focus within his chaotic and irreverent approach to magic and comedy. This is how they bonded.
