Calliope

The last in a long line of assistants with the same name - Calliope was originally performing under the name Madame Orloff, as the fortune teller in the Wrongwright brother’s circus.

At the time they caught each other’s eye, Dieter was travelling alone as the circus magician - having recently fallen out over the naming of a new rabbit act with his then current Calliope.

A fateful night, in a Paris hotel room, led to Dieter reading Madame Orloff’s mind - through painting a memory that he’d secretly plucked straight out of her head.

The rest was history - the pair fell in love, and Orloff became not only the latest Calliope to aid in Dieter’s act - but also the first (and last) Mr’s Roterburg.
